Wrong way to use a database. Instead of attempting to split up a
field by using low ASCII markers, why not use seperate fields like
a database is designed too?
Use fields like
LN FN MN TITLE
--------------------------------------------
Johnson Jane Mrs.
Johnson John Henry Mr.
Am I reading you right? What is wrong with this method? Is disk file
space an issue? :-)
