Hey Nancy!

> although it isn't one I normally read.

Same here except that lately I saw an opportunity to get some information
but failed miserably achieving that particular goal.

> just in case you didn't figure out that it'd gone astray

I didn't notice. Someone there informed me that it looked out of place
there and fired off a helpful message with my name on it. Retrieving it
and then reposting it here was a bit of a trick but I did manage to pull it
off. Almost didn't though as I find web interfaces to be extremely
annoying, even the text based ones which is all I am using for this
particular idea. I think I was wanting an excuse to totally quit trying
and that one almost became the camel back breaker.

> BW reader to answer to a different echo

That should have worked but it would have been nice if there were an
internal command on the BBS that allowed the poster - me in this case - to
move a message to the correct echo.

That was the plan. Too bad I was asleep at the wheel when it was
originally posted in the wrong echo and hopefully I won't make that mistake
ever again. No guarentees though but I will try harder.

Yep. I have seen the bug and the bug was me. :-/

> Parallel dimensions could explain some of them, for sure

A very nice way to put it. Not knowing for sure, they all seem nice if it
turns out to be actual testimonials and not paid actors which seems the
most likely. If so then none of them would look out of place in the real
world which could be a good sign if that really matters at all.

I'd conclude it is part of standard operating procedures.

> Can you tell the low opinion I have of ad writers in general...?

Hm. Possible dimension of compatibilty? ;-)

> Google for it?

Heh, heh. Just a sec ... hits 1, 3 and 4 look bang on. Hit 2 looks to be
a Jersey thing. Didn't bother checking out the other +15,000 hits.

Sorry if the above isn't formatted for your screen but it lines up
perfectly here. All my terminals work that way and are in sync with each
other display-wise which is what I want. Makes everything I do on a
day-to-day basis much simpler and vastly more powerful than simular GUI
thingies that I absolutely refuse to do.

> Good enough. :)

For sure.

Life is good,
Maurice
