-=> Quoting Dan Ceppa to Jean Parrot <=- DC> One thing that I did do that needed to be corrected was when I DC> copied in the files a while back. What should have been in DC> the c:\bwave folder got copied into the c:\bwave\bwave folder DC> instead. The bw config file didn't work as expected. DC> Your problem may be similar. I have a "read" directory, "temporary" storage directory, and "semi-permanent" storage directory. The "temp" one just keeps too many packets from filling up the "reading" directory. After copying the packets to the "temporary" directory, I can still access, and open them, with BW. They still retain all of their marks from before the move. The packets in the "semi-permanent" directory are stored (zero compression) in ZIP files, based on BBS and year. Eventually they go to the backup computer and floppy disks. ___ Blue Wave/386 v2.30 --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5a* Origin: BBS Networks {at} www.bbsnets.com 808-839-6036 (1:10/345) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 10/345 106/1 2000 633/267 |
