The kludge will be because I'm using QWKE, but those using standard QWK won't
have that.

Yes, that limitation of QWK was _very_ short sighted by the original designers.
 I can't fathom why they thought 25 characters was enough for a subject line. 
Both Bluewave and QWKE address this.

I used to use Bluewave many years ago, but these days, finding suitable doors
is the hard part. :/  I really do like the Bluewave format though.  Notfamiliar
with WeBeBashing.
