I just love watching people humiliate themselves for small sums of
money!

Fear Factor, of course, is the granddaddy program!

But I'm enjoying a new one, on Comedy Network, Sundays at 9:00pm

They start with 4 contestants who have to answer easy questions while
being distrated in various ways. . .

For example, tonight, the first round they had a table full of
mousetraps in front of each of them -- to buzz in they had to slap their
hand onto the bait to trigger the trap across their fingers then answer
the question.

The one with the least number of correct answers is eliminated, then the
3 remaining contestants went on to the 2nd round, where they had to
stick the top of their head into a cage full of pigeons, which walked,
pecked, and pooped on their hair for 45 seconds of answering questions
each.

Lowest score is eliminated, and the final two went on to the next round
of this animal themed show -- facing Canadian hockey players, who would,
after a player buzzed in, whip a slapshot puck at them, then the player
could try to answer the question!

The first to get 5 answers right wins and goes to the prize round -- the
prize round is always the same -- 5 kind of neat prizes (tonight: G4
Laptop, Vespa motorcycle, plasma TV, stereo, & always the important
prize -- this time a tray of Rice-a-Roni boxes); the winner still has 5
more questions-- every wrong answer means he has to push a plunger which
is wired to high explosives in one of the prizes (he doesn't know which,
though, and has to pick which plunger to plunge!)

Other interesting rounds in previous weeks:
-Contestants on stage, in port-a-potties, and they had to squeeze out
 some pee to buzz in on a question.
-Contestants had to participate in kids games (leap frog, wheelbarrow
 race, sack race, etc.) partnered up with a large naked fat person!
-Contestants get picked up & thrown around by pro wrestlers
-having to stand their ground & answer questions while a trained attack
 dog is trying to pull them to the ground


But it's so funny when the winner has to blow up his/her prizes at the
end! (all that humiliation, only to win negligable rewards, and then
have to participate in the destruction of them!)

One exception in the prize round was last week when every wrong answer
had one of the losing contestants beat up on the winner's 4X4 truck he
won.

I even set an alarm on my computer to make sure I don't miss the show
each Sunday! :)
