Same here.  Looking to ditch more now that I have a better handle on it.
The zmodem over telnet was a complete failure and although zip works I
figure I'll go back to doing a lynx dump since it doesn't require any
compression.  A lot less user-friendly and definetly not traditional but
the end result is vastly more compatible with regular text handling
applications.

This way I get rid of unused apps in favour of ones that will be onboard
BBSing or not.
