BK> I can believe that. I have not found a reason to upgrade yet. BK> Ok, it's not an upgrade from my point of view. If I have to buy BK> a new computer the new OS is not an upgrade, it's just another BK> system hog. BK> $120 for Win 7 was too much. I'l consider $40 for Win 8. Bob, My first MS-DOS computer had version 5.0. I never bought any of the version 6.x's although I did find a box in a Salvation Army Thrift Store that had the CD and Book for IBM PC-DOS 7.0 that I bought for $5.00US. My question is wasn't the various 6.x upgrades priced around $40.00US? * SLMR 2.1a #T348 * The only truly irreplaceable thing is time. --- SBBSecho 2.12-Linux* Origin: telnet & http://cco.ath.cx - Dial-Up: 502-875-8938 (1:2320/105.1) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 640/954 712/0 620 848 @PATH: 2320/105 261/38 123/500 387/22 712/848 633/267 |
