 Thanks Dave, & Hans.  I guess this also means that any odd number between
 the accepted baud rate Hayes standards eg 241 instead of 240 or
 963 instead of 960 would default to 2400 baud. likewise any
 figure over the upper limit of 11520 ( 115200 baud ).
