Not if you sent it on here.  I just got back on Fido last week
after a 4-month absence.  Sure was great to see a post from you
right off the bat, too!  I missed you!  (I will aim better next

OH NO!  Did you get that awful flu, or something else?  We got
flu shots so we didn't catch it.  Or even a cold, thank God!
Tom gets so sick with just a cold, I don't want to think about
what the flu would do to him.

Those are the best kind, and of course I forgive you.  I knew
you didn't have any lack of things to do around your house.  I
raised 3 younger siblings so even though I don't have kids, I
do know what it's like.

It's just that most of the needlepointing I've ever done was on
regular needlepoint canvas, which was much more flexible than
pc.  I'd forgotten how stiff pc could be and was frustrated when
it wouldn't bend like the other stuff.    It came back to me
after I quit trying so hard!

It will be easier when they're both in school all day.  Then the
day will have some continuity to it and won't be all broken up in
bits, as I'm sure it is now.

That's what happens with me here, too.

I'm still plodding away at the dresser tray but I did a dumb
thing (no I'm not going to tell you what it was!  It was just
humiliating enough without telling everyone...hehehe) and now I
have to do almost double the work, but I don't mind because it
is such a pretty piece with the dogwood blossoms on it against
the pale pink.  I hope Mom likes it as much as I do!
