	Hi Bonnie,
I have heard they have poor high end but I hadn't heard that phrase
before. The Rat Shack tweeters are about all I can afford at present. At
$25 each I'm not sure they're that good of a value. I'd love to have a
pair of Polk or something similar but they are way out of my price range.
I really don't need a really good high end because I know I am virtually
deaf above 11 kh. I have a powered sub-wolfer and have plenty of bass,
at least more than the neighbors will tolerate.. (I live in an Apt.)
Outside of Bose and other similar speakers there isn't much to choose
from around here. There is Buzz Jensen down town, but their prices are way
out of my league and the one time I went in there I was wearing street
cloths and felt way under dressed as all the sales men were wearing three
piece suits.. A little too pretentious me.
I've heard there is a place called Sounds Like Music that is pretty
good but I am not sure where it is, I looked for it once and couldn't
find it. It is tucked away some where in a weirdly layed out shopping
center.
About the only other choices around here are Circuit City & Best Buy.
