If you are considering making a secondary, might as well consider making a
bunch of them as you do want to put blocks around the secondary to get the
turned down edge problem down to a usuable level by sacrificing the edge
pieces to the TDE and thus, not having to worry about it on the usable
pieces.
I'll also note that you might as well make a number of them at the same
time for this reason as all of the center pieces will be good and the edges
may be good but it isn't guaranteed.
