Hi Penny!
-=> Quoting Penny Powers to Wendy Buchanan <=-
PP> where you were. Last I remember you were really sick and having
PP> all sorts of problems.... Now you are well! Great!!!
I'm very blessed. I had been feeling so bad and now I'm like
a prisoner set free.
I was having trouble sleeping enough hours a night. Seems that
after I was healed, I got so excited about the things I was
going to be able to do the next day, my mind would not shut up
and let me go to sleep, and then I kept waking up and not being
able to go back to sleep for sheer excitement. That's
past now. I got exhausted and had to train myself to sleep more.
PP> Yeah I know what you mean about people walking in on their
PP> surprises. We live in a trailer right now and I do all my
PP> crafting in the living room. Any way I am working on a cross
PP> stitch piece for John for his birthday. I am sure he knows what it
PP> is, but he keeps pretending he doesn't know. I am so glad that he
PP> can pretend he is dumb real well. Tell Tom happy birthday from the
PP> Powers clan.
Thanks, I sure will. When's John's birthday? You'll have to
remember to wish him a happy for us, too.
PP> accessories. Right now I have four basic patterns for ring bearer
PP> pillows that I make and then I have taken them and added to and
PP> taken away from to make a variation of them. Anyway I have been
PP> able to sell quite a few finished ones and I hopeing to market them
PP> when I get settled in my new home.
That's great! Have you thought about maybe making flower girl
baskets to coordinate with them? Most people love a matched set
but you could also sell those separately if they wanted it that
way. Just an idea which popped into my head while I was reading
your post.
I've still got that teddy bear 9-patch quilt to work on, plus I
have been doing some plastic canvas things I had patterns and
kits for. I like to do family presents in advance. Then they're
out of the way. But I'm so slow, still!
I crocheted a lot of cotton dishcloths and trivets and I'm tired
of them but want a couple more dishcloths for myself, so I'll be
doing a couple more. My SIL loves hers! I have fabric to make
a quilt for Tom, and also to make a bear for a friend of mine, so
those are sitting here too. My rubber stamps are calling my name!
Oh, there's plenty to do, including crafting things to fill up
Tom's tummy after a hard day at work!
Happy crafting, and LadyBear Hugs,
Wendy
