I like MY reason better, but you may be right. I don't think the NRA really
HAD
to spend a dime defeating the measure...It defeated itself. I, for one, do
not
vote on the basis of advertising. I don't know, maybe I'm different from
most,
but my mind is made up, one way or the other, without regard to advertising.
If it's something that raises taxes in any way...I vote NO.
If it's something that REDUCES taxes...I vote YES.
If it's a measure that infringes on the rights of a free people...I vote NO.
If it's a demo-rat...I vote NO.
If it's a republi-fraud...I vote NO.
If it's a Libertarian...I vote YES.
If it's a Libertarian type measure...I vote YES.
If I have ANY doubts, I read the voters pamphlet to see WHO is FOR or
AGAINST.
If our demo-rat governor is FOR...I'm AGAINST.
I guess that's enough to get the point across...VERY seldom do I ever deviate
from the above...and if I DO, advertising dollars spent play no part in it.
I have
NEVER voted for a demo-rat, regardless of campaign finances.
