There are two utilities that come with Max.  One is called ANS2BBS, and the 
other is ANS2MEC.  Run these on your ANSI file and they will convert it.  I 
prefer using ANS2MEC, then running MECCA.  That allows me to have a MEC 
version that I can go in and tweak.
