Good morning Franco ;-)
Great reply, it got me going!
I was thinking of doing just the same thing in Seattle. My typing is okay,
but I don't know about all the forms that could come up, such as the thesis
or final report which has headers, footnotes, bibliography, etc., and the
certain structure that each professor wants. I've been going to school for a
while and each instructor seems to want a slightly different format. Have
you found this requirement when typing papers? Also, have you had to rewrite
college papers because of such bad grammer or paragraph structure that you
couldn't take money for typing verbatim? (I've proofread some papers for a
few friends :-)
For business, I wouldn't know what to expect (business letters only?)
Is there a general reference(s) that you could recommend for the formatting
of college and/or business type traffic?
I'm not afraid of jumping in, I just don't want to accept a job and guess on
how to do it, then have it come back improperly done. I do have a couple
library books on typing services, but they are about 20 years old. According
to one, if I was a real professional, I'd spend about $16,000 and get a Wang
wordprocessor.
