	This was a handme-up Windows 3.1, I forget what make, but I seem to
remember that it was a Philips. ???

	They have changed that moniker again in W-8, it is now File Explorer, IIRP.

	You have me beat, I started in 85. But I went hogwild, got GEOS and all
the peripherals that I could, 24 pin printer, Ramlink and others that
allowed a boot in 2 seconds. It was fun.

	Funny, I did not have that situation, I can not remember having to have
the GEOS disk in place all the time. Working from Ramlink was great.

	It has been a few years, Ed, and my RAM does not remember that problem, it
was a very smooth operation here, modem and printer were very easy to use.
I got a 24-pin #4 so I could print our genealogy that I was working on
then.

	Your personal RAM is indeed much better than mine or maybe I did not have
that problem when using a Ramlink. All PRGs were loaded instantaneously.
And I do not believe that its CPU was up to 1 GHz.

	Fun days. Did you have any contact with Maurice Randall the creator of
Geofax ? I did most of the testing on that PRG. I beat a path on my rug
between the C= and the fax machine going to look at the text coming in.
Them were the days ! ! !
