I have the same GM designed trans in my Silverado and it has over 70k on
it with no problems...and I drag race the truck every so often.

Still going on the originals in the Silverado...my Camaro has 91k on
original wires and plugs. I finally had to change the distributor, wires
and plugs in the 56 back in 2006... 8^)
