Theres a basic MS-take in this " argument ". ( BTW, it works both ways )
Its the ASSumption that personal politics mean much of anything, when
the almighty profit picture is in sight.
So, networks cater, and pander, to *whatever* views they believe
will sell their soap, when it comes to their *fictional* shows.
Once you leave the areas of specific and acknowledged fiction, then
things change... to some degree. With so much news going around every
minute of every day, of course, even 24/7/365 news channels *have to*
choose what they will put on, and what they will focus on. ( And,
no news channel actually offers news 24/7/365. All have... shows,
too. )
So, we get hours about the unfortunate lady in Florida, and a few
seconds of F4J protesters. So, we do know that theres a similar
" what do we believe our audience wnats to see/hear " bias in play.
It may, or may not, line up with the political views of the owners.

Sure you would. As theres still millions of people ( See recent
Democratic vote counts, and demographic placings of those votes )
who want to see that, and will BUY what the networks that give that
to them advertise.

Do they ? I speak not of reporters, but of editors, et al.

Indeed.

Well, they might adapt, too. We'll see....
