From: Harvey
Subject: local repeaters at convention
I am currently compiling a list of local repeaters to be made
available at the convention for any hams that will be there. If
anyone feels they can benefit from having it e-mailed prior to
the convention let me know and I will e-mail it to you as soon as
I am finished putting it together. Of course, the list is always
subject to change, but I hope that by the middle of June it will
be complete. Send requests to hheagy@delphi.com
Also, I have sent a miniature into the Monitor which I hope will
make a pre-convention issue, but for the benefit of any hams
planning to attend the convention, here is a copy of it.
The members of the N.F.B. Amateur Radio Group invite all hams
to bring their rigs to the convention for a good time. We will be
meeting on simplex frequency 146.490 throughout the convention to
chat and disseminate information. We also hope to have a list of
local repeaters on the 2 and 440 meter bands available for
distribution in braille and print for your convenience.
Also, check the pre-convention agenda for the time and location
of our emergency preparedness seminar, and check the regular
convention agenda or listen for announcements of the annual meeting
of the Amateur Radio group during the convention. 73's.
Hope to see you in New Orleans.
