I wouldn't even care about the DOS compatibility (although that would be
easy for *me* to use), but I'd very much like full words as commands. It
takes me roughly 0.02 seconds to type the extra 2 or three letters - but it
takes me two hours to find someone who remembers wether it was
"xvzf" or "zxvf" or...

I'd really, really like to be able to "list" instead of
"ls". Maybe it's just me, but meaningful words are easier to
remember.
