I have a Commadore Model 1702 video monitor hooked up via a composite
connection to a VCR.  No basic there that I am aware of.

I've never had or used any of that so I have no idea.  I have used basic
but not in many, many, many years now.  What for?  Too many better other
options to basic that is for sure.
