Your Ramlink probably allowed the C=64 to change its GEOS settings
thinking it was a Floppy instead of RAM.
That's sorta like how Solid State Drives work, isn't it?

I used C='s 1526 9-pin printer and later got a 9-pin Epson FX-86e and
Super Graphix printer adapter.
The wife still uses the FX-86e with her C=64.

Oh, I thought a Ramlink was just RAM and didn't have a processor.
I never wanted one so I don't know anything about the Ramlinks.
