Somewhere in there is his problem. I checked under 98SE and those files should read Archive. I just checked in the XP system and the two boxes, Read-only and Hidden, are both unchecked. Something is making those files read-only... And, I just checked. The directory is marked as Read-only, but the files under that are not. And, I also just checked. I ran BW in the XP system and the flags/marks were saved. It's not directly a problem of BW. It has to do with the creation of the archive and/or original download. I'm using PKZIP When I changed a packet to Read-only, on exiting it gave me a warning me a warning message that the packet can't be created. My guess is that he is using a different packer and/or has wrong setting for it. --- OMX/Blue Wave/DOS v2.30* Origin: Soundly on the Fault Line (1:123/666.0) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 123/666 500 106/2000 633/267 |
