A very good point you make there, I am not using WiFi,
so did not even consider that when looking for a box.
This raspi is recording 6 security cameras, optional one E2500 webcam for
inhouse,
an USB audio stick for record,
has a 4TB Hitachi harddisk connected via an USB hub for storage,
a Cynergy USB DVB-S2 satellite tuner
an RTL-SDR stick for reception of my outside weather sensor
or as spectrum analyzer, or whatever else uses radio.
Been now up for more than a week in that configuration that (2 weeks already?)
and so far works perfectly, very happy with it.

I experimented today by mounting the little fan the other way around so it
blows at the processor from the top
and am now down to 46 C after running an hour in the above configuration,
room temperature is about 21 C,
I did not install any eeprom update as was done in the youtube video you
referred to,
But I think this box it is a good deal, looks nice too.
The raspi is well protected, I do not like those things where the PCB is
reachable from the outside
and pieces of metal could get between it and the case.
It all depends of course, I am very happy with this, if you are a WiFi user it
is maybe not for you.
But I also have a USB wifi stick for my raspi 2 somewhere.. .so there is a way
out.

My main worry with active cooling is dust accumulation, but then again I have a
big PC
running 24/7 for years, every now and then I hoover it, get he dust fromn the
CPU cooler and air inlets,,,,
