Teachers in Washington held a huge rally in Olympia yesterday, to
protest the state's decision to cut the voter-approved class caps
and teacher COLA.

They expected about 10,000.

They got almost 30,000.

It was AMAZING.

I'm halfway down the marching mob (which was almost a mile
long!).  We even had the president of the NEA come and talk to
us. Teachers came from Oregon and even British Columbia in
support, and I also saw representatives from a couple of Boeing
unions, the Teamsters, the Longshoremen, and several others.
