Same thing here. Definetly not married to anything on there, other than
the wireless mesh access point which one of my neighbours uses for access
into the internet. I have another one except with hostapd which provides
wpa2 access for two other neighbours - one with a tablet the other with a
smart phone. Both of those are Android based and as far as I can tell
cannot handle wireless mesh. The fools. :::sigh:::
The one that does hostapd is also the fidonet node which is where I am
typing this reply from my dumb terminal which is a 64-bit Atom with a sata
flash disk that I seldom write to. The fidonet node has a spinney 1T drive
that handles storage, backups, etc. for the wired and wireless networks.
It also tacks the binary ftn crap in the headers for the eeepc guy
(currently the 250 point I am using for testing).
