subject: Software to connect with a Fido hub via 09:12:4805/20/97

Hi All!
Perhaps someone can help me here. I now have an ftp Fidonet uplink and I
would like to automate the process of dialling my isp, ftping to my directory
on my uplink's server, upload/download any mail and then log off/disconnect
from my isp. Unfortunately the two software "packages" that allow an OS/2
system to do the above using the IAK (Mailftp and Ftpfid17) I cannot for the
life of me get to work. :-( Are there any other Fido ftp packages floating
about out there that are easier to set up and get working? Has anyone used
Ka9q on their OS/2 machine and if so what were the results (good, bad,
wouldn't touch it with a 10' barge pool)?
Currently I am manually transferring the mail. While this is ok at present
there may come a time that I am away from my computer (Shudder! >;->) and
thus will be unable to send/receive any mail, hence me wanting something to
automate this process.
Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give!
Talk to you later
