In W2k you don't need to make a shortcut. You can click Start, Programs,
Accessories. Then right-click Command Prompt, Properties and type your
shortcut key in the Shortcut Key box.

On some test machines where I may log on as several different users, I make
a folder called JB under Programs under All Users (right-click Start,
Explore All Users). In the JB folder, I put shortcuts to command prompt etc
with the shortcut keys I want.
