We are currently in the process of upgrading a rather large network running
on Novell 3.11. In the past when we have always just reinstalled Novell on
the new server, attached to both servers, copied all the data from the old
server to the new server and recreated and setup all the users and login
scripts. This was done on about a 10-15 user system (which didn't take very
long). The new upgrade we are scheduled to do is going to be on about a
30-35 user system, and we were wondering if there is a way to transfer all
the rights, users, login scripts, print server settings, etc, over to the
new server without having to re-create everything. In the past when we've
tried this, we managed to get all the users transfered over, but nothing
else. If anyone has a way to basically duplicate everything from one server
to another, please let us know! Thanks a million for any help anyone can
offer!
-Bill
