 You know, I had been wanting to get into a linux box to play around with and
get reaquainted with a unix type os.  Ubantu was my final choice because it's
so easy to set up for a newbie and you can learn later to do your thing from
the shell.  Just my two cents and for what it's worth, my other machine is a
dual core AMD running windows Vista which I also like. :)
