Totally! I had that happen to me with gcc and glibc (two of the longest
compiles) on numerous occasions when Gentoo for some reason would *require* me
to recompile the exact same version for no reason. I finally just left those
alone and didn't recompile them until an actual new version would be released.
Then it would compile fine.

Not any more! I had forgotten about that option. So when I migrated everything
over to a new Archlinux install, it was never implemented. Now it is and things
are back to normal. Thanks for the reminder! :)
