The DOS, OS/2 and Win32 versions should be available for download from my
system, fidonet node 1:343/41, via either regular user download or via
fidonet freq. I support POTS, telnet and vmodem for both methods and also
support binkp for freq's. Now, I'd have to look up the names for accessing
them.... For DNS, you can use tophat.darktech.org.

Please note, the latest versions of the DOS, OS/2 and Win32 versions of
Maximus are what Scott Dudley last compiled. The linux version is still
comming up to speed with the DOS, OS/2 and Win32 versions. I'm sure that
once Wes and the rest of us have had a chance to take the current code back
to other platforms, I will end up making available stuff from my BBS....

At least we have development going again. Thanks! It looks like a lot of
the Maximus code is working properly under Linux. Now to get the OS
specific bugs worked out on my system and provide the needed feedback into
the code base...... Even from running the two week (or so) old code base,
I see that the linux version has a very good start. I'll need to switch
over to the current CVS code base before I start submitting changes.....

Wes, does the current make files rely on the shell's wild card capability
for making all needed files? If not, I should be able to attempt a compile
under OS/2 -- the main problem will be getting the configuration setting
tweaked for my compiler environment there.... May need to install the
latest EMX (GCC) port.....

Take care.....
