AS noted by DAve erlier this thread, and by me many times
over the last few years, there is no such thing as a
"digital antenna."
An antenna is an antenna, is an antenna. THe wavelength of
the frequency to be transmitted or received is what's important to the
antenna. LIke woofers emit low frequency sounds, tweeters
high. An antenna is an antenna is an antenna.

DIgital antenna is just marketing hype bs to catch the
unwary.
WHether the modulation scheme is digital, am, fm, companded
sideband, single sideband, etc. makes no difference to the
antenna. Wavelength is the main factor to be considered in
the design of an antenna, and the desired directional
characteristics, of course.

RS> Her antenna looks much like a analog antenna.

OF course it does, see above. IF it was marketed as a
"digital" antenna no doubt she paid a premium price for it,
because the marketing hype was involved.
IF you had a uhf tv antenna before then you have a "digital"
antenna now. DOn't let the sales droid snooker you out of
any more money. THat is, unless you really need to improve
your uhf reception, in which case a better antenna is what
you need.
