Things got busy here, and I got a little more than a week behind... 
Most of what was being talked about wasn't anything I needed to add my
two cents to, especially coming in after the fact, so to speak... :)

That read-only stuff sounds plausible to me, too... but I'm not an
expert on the technical stuff... :)  I just figured that my experience
would at least maybe slow down chasing down THAT blind alley...
