I collected the unusual umlaut characters from the first message from
Benny, to add to my conversion table of UTF characters.

I see now when you send the same words back to Benny, that the same
umlaut characters are differently coded.

Consequently I give up all my tries to make conversins to/from UTF/PC8
in my editor as hopeless. OTOH the conversions from/to Latin-1, HTML,
MAC and ASCII work perfectly.
