"Larry Groom" made an utterence to
the drakelist gang

WOW, I am very impressed by the response! Thanks to everyone who responded.
Just after I hit the
Enter key to send my call for help, my friend called and said "I fixed
it!".
When I picked it up
He said he swapped the V1 tube and the V9 tube, and the power does indeed
stay put while tuning.
I asked now how can that be, and he just shrugged his shoulders. Something
still isn't right
As after getting home and setting the radio back into position I noticed
that all is working
Okay except I'm not getting any sidetone from the radio in CW. Also, one
time the T4XC went into
TX mode on its own. I'll adjust the VOX gain and delay, but otherwise will
keep playing with it
Until whatever it is quits!
Thanks again for the help! Long live Drake Users!
