At any rate, my thrust with this stuff is to reflect the base line Trek 
universe, that which we see on screen.  It does not include the novels or 
TAS, or fan-produced materials, since those are often (usually!) at variance 
with on-screen info - consider them alternate universes, a la TNG's 
Parallels...  :-)
