I know Scott was running some of his code under GNU Compilers at one point,
but just some of the "guts", not Maximus itself. I think he was
using djgpp, but it's certainly possible he was using EMX, I forget now
what he said (and lost some email about it). Yes, I did take advantage of
that. :)
