OF course, and whole wavelengths are now not used. Consider this. Try to
do the type of thing we were doing with voa,
radio free Europe, etc. in a culture where everybody's
sucking all their infotainment down the hose.
THen there's good ol' iboc "in band on channel" digital
signals in the am broadcast band. Where at one time you
could listen to one of the big powerhouses, wwl, who, wls,
etc. on your battery operated portable at night, iboc has
degraded am reception to near useless in many cases.
GOing to be another few cases of "don't know what you've got till it's
gone" in a few years methinks.
