One thing to do is to make a DOS 6.x or earlier boot disk (BTW if you do not
have an old version of DOS check the license disk, if is bootable with NDOS
7 but I do not know if it has format.com on it), by using the format a: /s
command. You do not need a config.sys or autoexec.bat unless you do now want
to see the date and time prompt, or you have some special hardware dirvers
that you need to load (such as SCSI drivers, and CDROM drivers if you need
to build the server on that PC). Make sure that the partition that contains
NWSERVER is a FAT 16 partition. When you boot off the boot disk the only
partition that should be seen is the fat 16 partition. This should work for
any PC that the config.sys and autoexec.bat file will load.
