I'm getting F2 with the glass of the lens right against the KE but the
other trick here is that the lens has to be of a short enough focal length
to be able to see the whole mirror.  Do the FOV calculations and if the
imager is fully there, the next problem is capturing the full expanding
cone from the KE.  That you miss the outer part indicates that the lens
wasn't close enough to the KE to do that capture. Bob May
