FV> I know a lot of you monitor satellite traffic, so I was wondering if
FV>anybody has a complete (or even partial) list of the names
FV>of the currently orbitting Earth satellites that are (1) visible to
FV>the naked eye or small binoculars and/or (2) are used by Amateur
FV>Radio operators? (Ideally, it would be helpful if the list also
FV>included the NORAD #s and a brief description of the satellites'
FV>mission or function.) If so, could you please post that data here?
FV>Even if you know only one or two, that would help, since I can gather
FV>individual reports (and then later post a sorted compilation of all the
FV>data I gather, if anyone would like me to).
FV> Thanks a lot! When I hit the Lotto, I won't forget you!
FV>Cheers, Frank
Frank, one or two oddball fish-out-of-water satellite references is
about all this shortwave forum is good for. You'll find much better
info fishing in Fido Satellite and Fido Ham Radio. Ask your sysop to
AREAFIX those for you.
