Check out the "Unoffical Netscape support for Netscape/2" at 
http://home.netscape.com/people/mcw" for plugins for the streaming version of 
.mpg files. I don't think that Netscape itself can play this type of file.
And the March version is the latest.  When you "upgraded" to it, you should 
upgrade the PlugPack too.  Fixed a few "features" here.
