I happen to agree with those points for the most part. AS
soon as Ron Paul jumped ship to the Republican party I quit
supporting him though, a true libertarian would have stood
his ground instead of trying to pander to some of the folks
under the current Republican party tent, and by that I mean
the JErry Falwell types.
YEt that leaves me in sort of a tough spot when I go to cast my absentee
ballot of October 17.
Do I vote my conscience and vote for Gary Johnson. I liked
him as New MExico governor, and still like him today. YEt,
I believe that Romney, especially coupled with the
teabaggers driving the agenda of the Republican party are
more dangerous to our freedoms and lberties. Which puts me
in the position of voting for Obama just to help Obama take
another state hopefully and deny ROmney our electoral votes
on one hand. On the other, vote how i really feel and mark
my ballot forGary Johnson.
Seriously torn on which way I'm going to jump here, but
won't decide probably until I show up at the election office to turn in my
absentee ballot. My extreme distrust of
ROmney coupled with my extreme disgust at the tea party
bigots might carry the day however.

Maybe, but the Republican party has already decided to climb in bed with
these repressive nut jobs. Personal freedom and liberty mean
nothing to those people,
so long as you smoke their brand of religious fundamentalism and selling
out to big money interests. That 5% buys you nothing after they've sold
you the rest of the way down the river.
IT's not that I believe Obama will do anything great,
Obama's just another yes man for business as usual. But, my high level of
distrust toward ROmney and those to which he's beholden may carry more
weight with me than my personal
beliefs this election.
