Heh, heh. Yeah right. I see your latest replies have grunged the utf-8
characters. You should convert it to whatever charset you are actually using -
you claim LATIN-1 but given the lack of conversion it is impossible to tell
what LATIN-1 actually is to your editor.

Okay. I tested it with lynx instead and now see the default, "It works!
æbelø.dk", from a unconfigured Apache server. Also he added, "Posted by
Børge Larsen on 17. august 2015", which is a long time for an unconfigured
Apache server ... no? Anyhow it appears that he can handle utf-8 characters.
