I'm not sure this is the right area to ask for this help but..
I've got a friend with an IBM clone that he's pulled out of the closet. When 
we try to boot, it goes through the RAM test, brings up the copyright, buzzes 
both floppies (5 1/4 and 3 1/2) then places the number  1701 under the RAM 
test and locks.  I would appreciate info on what this code is.  I seem to 
remember it as a hard drive error but I haven't seen my list in years
