Over the years I've seen a lot of speakers repaired with the Radio Shack 
super 
tweeters.  It works ok for background music in say a restaurant but you'd 
have to 
be lucky to get it to blend well enough to be able to stand to actually sit 
and 
listen to it for very long. I imagine some folks wouldn't notice this.  I 
would.
