Now I see the problem! It's my error, grin.
And worse, IIRC, Phil Katz is missing in action .. sadly .. ;(
I wonder, could you run it emulated, just to get where ya'll are going, for
the moment, distributed with a wrapper? In a way, remember, that was what
was done with some of the archivers for OS/2, wasn't it? PKZIP2.CMD and
PKUNZIP2.CMD, to be specific. If you could do that sort of thing in Linux
here just to plow around this, it would get you where you are going,,
