It's all part of the Penguin Conspiracy!

A joke among us, our daughters, our friends the Lechaks, and Elizabeth's
friend Jamie Young, among others.  Mark Lechak can't stand penguins, for
some reason.  So we have been, of course, presenting him with penguin
stuff
all over the place.  Jamie, an artist, is working on "The Four Horsemen of
the Apenguinypse." 

It's all a riot, and we see penguin conspiracies everywhere.  

Well, that explains the penguins doing laps.  They're in training.  For the
invasion.  Yep, California is finally going to do it and take over Florida.
