OK, I admit the monitor I tried it on was the one of an old Tandberg®
terminal. (I'm not crazy enough to try this an a useful monitor) Newer
monitors don't care. They will not let you run it on than for which it
was designed.
However, I would guess some-years-old monitors are vulnerable as well.
My own is six years old and is probably breakable this way.
Yes, I have promised myself to buy a new one. But every time I find
that I can have more fun with a new hard disk or something else which
is not a monitor. :-)
